Description
The records listed this week came from the personal collection of folk musician, Alex Atterson. He appears on some of the recordings (Stained Glass, John the Fish) and many of the albums come with personal dedications from the artists to Alex. All of these inscriptions will be noted in the listing. The majority of the LP`s are in stunning, near perfect condition although each will be graded to Record Collector standards.
Very early recording (1965) from The Count House Folk Club in Cornwall, featuring John the Fish, Des Hannigan, Brenda Wootton and Mel & Miles in various combinations. This is a `live` recording made at a normal club session in late 1965. The laminated front cover displays some light creasing but is otherwise fine. The rear cover displays foxing (brown spots) and possible light water damage (see scan). The seams need re-gluing. Graded VG. The vinyl itself has some hairline marks and one or two more obvious, non-sounding marks on each side. It retains a good lustre. The label shows some spindle marks around the centre hole. Playback is generally excellent with occasional (light) crackle. Graded VG+. RARE!!!
