This is a vast collection of more than 300 albums (I think the precise number is 315), EPs (about 10) and singles (95, I think). They were bought by a collector over a period of about 15 years from the early 1970s to the late 1980s. They were all originally released between the mid-1960s and the mid-1980s. There is a big concentration of late 60s and early 70s recordings - everything you'd expect from the Beatles to the Beach Boys to Dylan, Manfred Mann, Bowie, Kinks, Genesis, and most genres - pop, psychedelic, rock, heavy metal, soul, New Romantic. The records from about 1974 onwards were bought new at the time; the Sixties ones were also bought then, so I doubt if they are rare first pressings - however some were bought second-hand at the time so may be early recordings. I don't have a turntable so can't play the records, but I have looked at them and they appear to be pristine and scratch-free. The covers are also 90% excellent though a few of the early Seventies ones are a bit rubbed at the edges, and a few of the 1984 ones (for some reason) are a bit wrinkly.
I have previously sold two lots of these, 40 to a lot, with each title listed, but I just don't have time to list the rest separately, so somebody is going to get a bargain. They also come with five robust vinyl carrying cases (one is visible in the photographs) to help transport them - they would fill eight carrying cases. The singles also come in their own case. Ideally I would like someone to collect them on the weekend of 13/14 March.

On 10-Mar-04 at 10:31:29 GMT, seller added the following information: I've just found another 36 albums which I am adding to this lot - so it should read 'More than 350 LPs....'; the new ones all seem to be from 1968. I also forgot to add that I believe some of the total were bought in the US in 1979 - Zappa and stuff...price rating
