I have played this album right through before listing it, this very rare prog-rock album on offer here looks in brilliant near new condition and plays a superb excellent+ right through with no problem areas at all, this rare gem of an album has been barely played at all in 35 years, i do not think that you will find a better playing copy than this one on offer here.
This superb 1972 album was recorded by the little known uk progressive rock band MORGAN, the group featured former members of The Love Affair and Mott the Hoople, the line-up also included vocalist Tim Staffel who played in the pre-Queen group SMILE with Brian May & Roger Taylor, this MORGAN album actually contains a brilliant spacey version of the Smile track 'Earth'. Some say that Tim Staffel's powerful tenor voice resembles that of Freddie Mercury and when listening to his excellent vocals on this album you can hear for yourself why. "Nova Solis" is, in true progressive rock style, a concept album, but with none of the pompousness associated with the genre, the album is a mixture of beautiful acoustic tunes with aggressive synths over a powerful rhythm section, it shows power and versatility from beginning to end and will definitely not disappoint the fan of progressive rock music.

The original thick vinyl is in really superb EX++ condition with barely even a light scuff, all tracks play and sound top excellent throughout with the absolute minimal amount of light hiss/crackle, this is actually almost none at all as the entire album looks and plays as close to new as you will find. this is just a brilliant looking/playing/sounding copy of this rarely offered complex progressive rock album.
The matt gatefold sleeve has one very small sticker mark on the front/top/right corner otherwise it's excellent with barely any wear or creasing at all, unusually the vinyl inner sleeve slips into the top of the gatefold sleeve and not from the right edge. The inside gatefold is in excellent very clean condition and has interesting album info and also all the lyrics printed in English, this album also comes with a one page insert with all lyrics translated into Italian, this insert is in MINT condition and cannot be faulted.
The original poly-lined RCA advertising inner sleeve is in very good condition with just a few creases.
This musically superb 1972 progressive rock album rarely surfaces for sale as a UK or Italian issue so get it while you can as it will be quite some time before another get's offered in such brilliant clean playing condition as this again.
