Morning of the Earth Soundtrack
Warner Bros - Australia 1971
Morning of the Earth captures the essence of early 1970's surfing and lifestyle in an important time in the evolution of the sport. The popularity of the film was such that the record became the first Australian Gold soundtrack album.
The film portrays surfers living in spiritual harmony with nature, making their own boards (and homes) as they traveled in search of the perfect wave across Australia’s north-east coast, Bali and Hawaii.
Produced by G. Wayne Thomas & John J. Francis
Includes music by noted Australian acts Tamam Shud, John J. Francis, Brian Cadd and G. Wayne Thomas
Cover M- Gatefold cover is almost perfect apart from a small name in biro top right corner as shown.
Vinyl VG+ Some light marks which are audible but do not affect play. Still a great listen.
I'm selling off my collection of hard to find Prog Rock and Aussie Rock from the 60's and 70's. All records have been kept in plastic covers since i've owned them and will be shipped with them on, in thick cardboard. Grading is done under a close fluro lamp and played to test for noise.
Happy to combine postage on multiple purchases to save you some bucks.
Grading system as follows;
M New or in as new condition.
M- Very minimal marking if any.
EX Excellent condition, little wear.
VG+ Minor marking, quite acceptable.
VG Marking and signs of wear, maybe cover ring wear
but still acceptable.
VG- Very marked and getting quite beat up at this stage.
G Very badly marked, lots of scratches and maybe a slight warp. Mainly label value only or a filler but still plays with a lot of noise. Will do until a better copy comes along.
