GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note :  " Gestazione " per voce femminile e strumenti, suoni elettronici e orchestra d'archi è musica per balletto che combina la sperimentalità dei suoni elettronici con i vocalizzi femminili, il tutto supportato dall'orchestra d'archi con tonalità sonore smorzate e minimalistiche. Atmosfere surreali ed oscure, quasi a voler trasmettere un senso di vuoto e di paura. L'ascoltatore non può in ogni caso restare indifferente.

Nel secondo lato " Totem Secondo " per 5 fagotti e 2 controfagotti. Sonorità irregolari e fortemente acute trasmettono sensazioni di smarrimento e impotenza.

Notes : " Gestazione " for female voice, electronic sounds and string orchestra is music for ballett combining experimentation of electronic sounds with female vocals, the whole lot backed by the string orchestra with muted and minimalist sound tones. Surreal and dark atmospheres instil a sense of emptiness and fear. The listener cannot in any case remain indifferent.

The second side features " Totem Secondo " for 5 bassoons and 2 contrabassoons. Irregular and shrieking sonorities convey feelings of bewilderment and helplessness.
