                                   7”VINYL PICTURE SLEEVE WITH TEST PRESSING MATRIX ON RUNOUT


This is an interesting vinyl, which I have owned for over twenty years, but to be honest, can’t definitively affirm what it actually is, so I will describe it as best as I possibly can:

The Vinyl has the standard UK release central label but the matrix is different from the standard release. This Vinyl has ‘POP1619 A-2U-1-1 and POP1619 B-2U-1-1.’ pressed on the runout of the Vinyl, whereas  the standard release reads POP 1619 A-2U-1-X / POP 1619 B-1U-1-X on the runout. (There is also "Nineteen Eighty Hate etched on the A Side & TY1 on the B Side of this record)

The sleeve of the Vinyl is the standard UK release picture sleeve, but it differs to the standard one due to the fact that it has a sticker located on the back stating, 'manufacturers property. NOT FOR SALE'

I referred to the Passions Just Like Mine website, where it states:

Everyday Is Like Sunday UK 7" test pressing
“The test pressing for the UK 7" has a plain white label and is usually found inside a black die-cut paper record bag.
POP 1619 A-2U-1-1 / POP 1619 B-2U-1-1"

So the matrix is the same as the test pressing but the labels and sleeve are not mentioned on the Passions Just Like Mine website.

Please view all the photographs, as I have tried to show all the relevant information  as best as I possibly can, including close ups of the Runout Matrix numbers and the sticker on the rear of the vinyl
