Plantasia Symphony For A Spider Plant Baby's Tears Blues Ode To An African Violet Concerto For Philodendron & Pothos Rhapsody In Green Swingin' Spathiphyllums You Don't Have To Walk A Begonia A Mellow Mood For Maidenhair Music To Soothe The Savage Snake Plant   Though Mort Garson has roots in psychedelic rock, it's good to hear him branch out to other areas on Plantasia. It's easy for one to tell Plantasia is a truly accomplished work in a sea 70's electronic - even if one hasn't botany in the past. The album is very soilful, and, though it can become mysterious and , it never becomes plantive - this isn't an album for pansies after all.

You see, Plantasia's brilliance stems from its many layers, and, I'll admit, has grown on me over thyme. The album was made when Garson was but a budding artist, and was surely hoping for a great career opportunity to turnip. When it did, Garson didn't want to just create any B-Grade music to be sold - he wanted to achieve true musical grapeness for fellow plant lovers.

I can wholeheartedly guarantee Plantasia will not be a fruitless listen. However, I will leaf you to form your own opinion and weed out your favourite tracks; though personally, in the fuchsia, I will be investigating Garson's other work pre-seeding this album.   WHY NOT CHECK OUT MY EBAY STORE -
