Description

MOSAIC MQ6-144   BUCK CLAYTON  The Complete CBS Jam Sessions

A long-deleted 6CD box set,  which gathered together all of the material that could be located from the series of jam sessions Clayton made for USA Columbia 1953-56. As fans of this music will already know, the line-ups are a roll-call of the all the greats, and some should-be called greats, of the mainstream jazz era - a style of music that these recordings came to exemplify. This has the usual luxury booklet with high-definition photographs, full track listings and discographical details. There are many previously unissued performances. (More information on request.)

DESCRIPTION/CONDITION : The discs are N- (M-), 'as new' apart from superficial surface dust. The box is also E+toN- (VG++toM-), again, 'as new' apart from very minor surface rubbing.
