MOSAIC MR12-135 COUNT BASIE The Complete Roulette Live Recordings
A long-deleted 12LP box set, which gathered together all of the material that could be found in the vaults, recorded live by the Basie band 1959-62. This was of course the period that saw the much-loved 'Basie at Birdland' LP. That material is here plus stuff from other contemporary albums. However most of the tracks had never been previously issued. This has the usual luxury booklet with high-definition photographs, full track listings and discographical details. DESCRIPTION/CONDITION : The discs are E+ to N- (VG++toM-), 'as new' apart from a few very light scuffs. The box is E+ (VG++), with a small incipient split in the middle of the bottom seam of the back part of the box and minor surface scratching.
