MOSAIC MR3-103   ALBERT AMMONS/MEADE LUX LEWIS  The Complete Blue Note

A long-deleted 3LP box set,  made by these two leading exponents of boogie-woogie and blues piano playing, covering all the recordings cut by Blue Note 1939-44, plus Lewis' 1935 version of 'Honky Tonk Train Blues', originally made for UK Parlophone by John Hammond. This has the usual luxury booklet with high-definition photographs, full track listings and discographical details. (More information on request.)

DESCRIPTION/CONDITION : The discs are E+ to N- (VG++toM-), 'as new' apart from a few very light scuffs/marks. The box is E (VG+), with a 4cm split in the middle of the back join of the spine plus a 5cm split in the middle of the bottom seam of the back part of the box.
