Description

Mosaic MR4-113: The Complete Pacific Jazz Live Recordings Of The Chet Baker Quartet With Russ Freeman. This long-deleted set of FOUR LPs provides a real treat for lovers of the 'James Dean' of jazz trumpet. This was Baker's working group through 1954 but originally only about 2 LP's worth of material was issued. Here, Mosaic presented no less than FIFTEEN PREVIOUSLY UNISSUED performances. Also contained in the box is the usual high quality booklet including a full discography and high-resolution photographs. The condition of the discs is "as new" (N-). The box itself is in similar condition apart from some very slight damage to both top corners.
