Description

Hello everyone,
I'm selling my " MOTH RCM " record cleaning machine. It is in excellent working order and cosmetically it's also excellent.
In photos 1 and 2 there is a a little bloom on the top plate, top right. In photo 5, showing the rear of the Moth, there are a few short scratches. The bottom plate, as seen in photo 8, has been painted because I didn't realise that I should have moved the machine by picking it up instead of sliding
it into it's new position. It resulted in scratches to the paintwork, hence the new paint job. None of the aforementioned imperfections have no effect on the performance of the Moth, I mention them because I'm as honest as I can with the description. I still regard the cosmetic look to be
excellent. Please feel free to request further photos and to ask questions.
The case is made from 16swg, in other words, built like a battleship.
The reason for selling the Moth, I've invested in a Pristine Vinyl " ViVac ". Does it clean records any better? Possibly not and it cost £2000. Why did I buy one? Because my wife doesn't consider the Moth to be acceptable to her eye and I do agree, but at then at ten times the price, I must be
crackers. Mind you, every time I buy a record she says the same.
I'm auctioning the Moth with free carriage. It weighs a ton and although it's free carriage to the buyer, he or she would be welcome to collect if that is their preference. I would require for it to be paid before collection, though.
Thank you for your interest shown in the auction.
Kind regards,
Brian.
