Mother Love Bone's only full length album, "Apple" on vinyl lp. This album was released by Polydor/ Polygram Records (843 191-1). 1990.


Mother Love Bone was supposed to be THE next big band in Seattle, but due to tragic circumstances, they never were able to fulfill the promise. Featured Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard, who went on to form from the ashes of MLB, a new band, Pearl Jam.

"Mother Love Bone was an American rock band that formed in Seattle, Washington in 1988. The band was active from 1988 to 1990. Frontman Andrew Wood's personality and compositions helped to catapult the group to the top of the burgeoning late 1980s/early 1990s Seattle music scene. Wood died only days before the scheduled release of the band's debut album, Apple, thus ending the group's hopes of success. The album was finally released a few months later. Although Mother Love Bone is to this day remembered by many as a very talented band in its own right, its legacy, for some, is overshadowed by Wood's death and the bands that its former members would later form."

The vinyl are rated at a solid VG++, with very minimal wear apparent. There are some very faint marks barely visible under strong light. The records have no scuffs, no deep scratches, no warps, and no writing on the labels.

The cover is rated at sharp VG++ as well.   There is very minimal wear to the corners or edges. There is a very small amount of ring wear. There are no seam splits or tears, no writing on the cover, and no stickers.
