THE MOTHERS OF INVENTION BURNT WEENIE SANDWICH 1970 BIZARRE BLUE LABEL RS 6370 RS6370 - A / B
For auction here is a copy of THE MOTHERS OF INVENTION'S rare and classic Lp featuring FRANK ZAPPA as originally released in the USA in 1970 and called BURNT WEENIE SANDWICH. This is an early pressing from way back in 1970 on the original BLUE BIZARRE LABEL.
Under a 100W bright light the Lp retains an excellent sheen. There are some visible marks but they are predominantly hairlines and overall it grades visually at excellent minus. And this is confirmed on playing as there is very little audible surface noise at all and where there is it is only noticeable in between tracks - so overall the record is graded at a strong EXCELLENT MINUS.
The classic BLUE BIZARRE labels are also graded EXCELLENT MINUS with very few visible spindle marks.
The THICK CARD WIDESPINE GATEFOLD PICTURE SLEEVE by GARROD & LOFTHOUSE is graded at EXCELLENT MINUS as overall there is little wear, but there is a 3cm split to the top opening and the odd corner ding but other than that no splits or writing and the spine remains 100% etc.
This copy comes with the ORIGINAL INNER which is graded VERY GOOD PLUS as has little wear but two splits, one to bottom and one to side.
