The Raw Apex of the Original Mothers: With Rare Front Promo Radio Timing Strip

Documenting the final phase of the original Mothers of Invention lineup, Weasels Ripped My Flesh is a towering hybrid of blistering live free-jazz improvisations ("Eric Dolphy Memorial Barbecue") and razor-sharp studio compositions ("My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama").

• The Promo Rarity: True promotional copies of this release are distinguished by the large, factory-applied Reprise Records Radio Station Service timing strip affixed directly along the bottom front of the cover. These strips provided DJs with exact track times and licensing data. Finding one completely intact, unpeeled, and uncreased is extraordinarily scarce.

• The Provenance: Distributed directly by Warner/Reprise to the New York Post offices in 1970 and preserved in its archival sleeve unplayed.

• Artwork & Visual Appeal: Neon Park’s legendary, gruesome pop-art parody cover is fully preserved in vibrant, unfaded color. The jacket remains flat, crisp, and exceptionally sharp.

• Vinyl Condition: As fresh as the day it came off the press. Gleaming grooves, razor-cut spindle hole, and zero turntable miles.
