Mothers Of Invention--How Could I Be Such A Fool / Help I'm A Rock--Verve 10418.  Promotional copy of this early Mothers single from October 1966.  I downgraded the vinyl to VG, but it appears glossy and playback is fine.  There is either a pressing defect or somehow the record was crimped about a quarter way into the grooves.  It made what appears to be a slight crease (indentation) in the vinyl on the one side and a ridge on the other.  The disc plays right through both sides cleanly and would grade EX / VG+ without the defect.  Labels have three small water spots on the top of the B-side; otherwise the labels are clean.  Obscure early Mothers Of Invention collectible!
