MOTLEY CRUE STICK TO YOUR GUNS 45 7" ORIGINAL SIGNED
This is an incredible collector's item that's just painful as hell to part with. There can't be many of these out there. Signed by all four members with dates and inscriptions in 1981. I got this many years ago from a friend who worked in music promotions at Warner Bros. in the 70s and 80s. Their management co. sent it to her trying to promote the band and get a record deal. She had three copies of the 45, and this one was signed. I about lost my mind when I first laid hands on it. I've since sold the other two over the years and am only getting rid of this to continue to fund my own music project. (I sold the last one less than a year ago to buy studio time... now we have to get CDs manufactured.) So it's for a good cause and I really hope it goes into an awesome collection... man, this should be in a Motley Crue museum. Okay, here are the details:
MATRIX NUMBERS:
SIDE A: MC 001-A R-7224 JS-XTAL L-5354
SIDE B: MC 001-B JS-XTAL L-5354-X R-7225
- On side B the 'L' in L-5354-X, is superimposed over an 'R'.
1981 Leather Records
The vinyl shows absolutely no wear whatsoever. There is some mild rubbing to the cover and light yellowing to the inner sleeve, consistent with age. It looks worse in the pictures than it really is. Bad lighting. Since I acquired it I've stored it in a plastic sleeve wrapped in plastic and stored in a 45 box. The most precious item I've had in my collection. At times I thought about putting it between plexiglass or something.
Okay, I really hope the right collector gets this and appreciates it as much as I have.
