PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
MEGA RARE COMPLETE original Specialty first pressing of this classic Crue LP from 1985 on Elektra with glossy full color mail-in order from insert sheet for sweet merch, Certificate Of Authenticity mail-in postcard to "Join The Counter Attack", original Smokin In The Boys Room theater ticket replica hype sticker and glossy full color printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!! LP is a beautiful VG++ with a few barely visible paper scuffs. Cover has a hint of wear at the opening and is still in the original shrink wrap. Incredibly hard to find a complete original copy in this condition so don't sleep. You will not be disappointed. Auction also includes a Smokin In The Boys Room/Home Sweet Home 45 on the Elektra Spun Gold Series label from some time in the 1980s with the original glossy sleeve!!! Vinyl, labels and sleeve are all in stunning condition. Again, you will not be disappointed. Auction also includes an ULTRA RARE original rigid, two-sided 12" X 12" in-store promotional display put out by Elektra in 1985 that features a glossy image of the LP cover art on the rear with promotional text at the bottom!!! I bought this from the former manager of Tower Records here in Chicago sometime in the early 2000s who had an oversized crush on Tommy Lee and decided to rescue it from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive). She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed. Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result very few survived from the 1980s. There are 3 small staple holes and one diagonal crease from the center to the top left hand corner. These are the kinds of rarities Crue fans are going to be fighting over fiercely in the very near future so don't sleep. You won't see another lot with all these items in this condition again.
