This is an original UK pressing of the very rare Sam Gopal album ESCALATOR with the incredible Lemmy, if you have not heard this LP well your just missing out, it is a corker and Lemmy`s voice really is incredible, he really can sing.
The sleeve the most heavily textured sleeve I have ever come across its like 1970s wallpaper, and this one is in pretty good shape. Double click the pictures there is very slight edgewear to the sleeve front panel and I think its lowest point is the front panel left corner. The spine does have some wear slightly but the spinal writing is still intact and easily read. The front panel band shot is very vibrant and clean. The back panel is also really clean and the inside of the gatefold is flawless. I think this sleeve is in Excellent minus condition. The record labels are fantastic. The deep grooved ridged rimmed label is very heavily textured then you get that smooth ridged rim they just don`t make them like this anymore.
Side 1 has very light hairlines but no feelable scratch marks and it plays all the way without jumps skips or sticking. I`m happy to grade it a conservative Very Good + but it plays way better as there is nothing on the regarding background noise or loud clicks there`s nothing that spoils the sound at all.
Side 2 is pretty similar there is one hairline that goes right across the record and it has hairlines just as on side 1 but again, this record plays incredibly well. It plays through its entirety with NO Jumps No sticking No interfering background noise and No skipping. So I think this is a great condition LP. So to sum up LP and Sleeve in a conservative Very Good + condition but i must say this. It plays better.
If your after a minter then this album is not for you but a minter of this will be heading towards a grand easy.
