Per Ace Records -"The original album in chrome and black sleeve is now worth over £100 in mint condition. For those who can't locate one of these, we also issued the second 1.000 copies of the LP in a shiny laminated black and white sleeve". I believe that this is one of the second batch of 1,000." Chiswick Records appear to get into financial difficulty and following these issues EMI took over and then issued 10,000 copies on white vinyl. So this one pre dates the so called "White vinyl fever version". THIS IS PRICED PURELY BASED ON ITS RAREITY.
Despite defects detailed above cover is very acceptable - see photos. What really is on offer here is more the history than the quality of the item. The vinyl does however play back nicely and inner sleeve is in good nick.
