I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
MOTORHEAD.
SNAKE BITE LOVE.
ORIGINAL STEAMHAMMER 1998 GERMAN 1st PRESSING LP - SPV 008 -18891.
The LP comes with a print + an added Snake Bite Love promo flyer.
The cover is autographed by Lemmy. This is part of a collection that will be sold over the next couple of years. The original owner did meet Lemmy many times. This autograph is 100% the real deal.
This is the 1st pressing of this LP from 1998, the cover has the correct info for a 1st pressing on the back as seen in the pictures above.
This is very rare to find this LP autographed.
My grading is very strict, this is a nice example.
The Cover / EX- condition. The cover is clean and nice condition. The back is clearly autographed by Lemmy in blue biro pen. The cover has a couple of small creases only so I graded a strict EX- condition.
The Record / VG++ condition. The disc is in nice condition with only a little light surface wear under halogen bulb.
The Labels / Mint- condition.
The Print / Mint- condition.
The Inner Cover / EX- condition. A new inner is also included.
The Flyer / VG+ condition. .................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
