Lot of 8 LPs This listing includes 8 photographs,

1) Smokey Robinson & The Miracles - Motown Legends - Jacket is nice and clean, but is developing a slit on the side, where the disc is. I have to give it a rating of VG+ for this problem. Inner sleeve is original and although it is clean and crisp, it is slit on 2 sides. Vinyl is free of scratches and smudges, but is has some dust on one side, I will give it a NM- rating. I no longer have a turntable required to give it a cleaning myself. 2) Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell - You're All I Need - Jacket is clean & bright with only slight signs of wear, a few small creases, and a small divot in Ms. Terrell's arm, I will give it a
grade of VG+ - EX. Inner sleeve is original, and not slit. Vinyl is pristine. No spindle marks, probably never actually played. Grade is NM.
No Bar Code. 3) Dancin' Hits - Wyncote Records This jacket in dirty, several marks on the back, and shows only slight signs of shelf wear. Also has a divot on the bottom edge, see photo. Inner
sleeve is plain white, not slit. The vinyl is
nice and heavy, actually still has a sliver
of vinyl on the edge from manufacturer, see photo. Doesn't look like this got much play, but someone did manage to get their fingerprints on it, so does need a cleaning. I feel confident these fingerprints will come off with a proper cleaning and doubt very seriously that you will experience any surface noise. Grade of EX, just for the sloppy handling of one person. No bar code. 4) The Motown Story - Limited Edition 5 Record Box Set in very clean cond- ition. The bottom of the box is develop- ing a tear at the bottom (see photo).
I could never find an outer plastic sleeve
large enough for this set, but if you can get one, you can probably stop this. The box does show some shelf wear, nothing major, and worse at the corners. I will grade the box EX. The 5 inner sleeves are original, plain white, none of them are slit. Some of them are slightly yellowed. Of the 5 discs, only 1 has anything resembling a mark. It appears to be a slight needle mishap and is not deep. The rest of the discs are in really well preserved shape, you may find some dust, as I said, I do not have the equipment for cleaning. Hard to give a grade to 5 discs, but overall, I will give them a NM-. I don't think this set saw
much use. No bar code.

My Collection: I acquired most of this vinyl between
1979 - 1983 when I worked at the record store. My records have always been very well stored, most
in protective plastic sleeves. I have not had a turntable for over 15 years, so I cannot guarantee
every track is defect free, I can only tell you that I
handled my records with obsessive care when I
did have a turntable, and defects are
highly unlikely. The grades in this listing
are visually inspected under bright light only.
I do not recommend sending rare records via Media Mail.
