Description
This is a very good original U.S. pressing copy of the second and final LP by Bay Area blues-rock group Mount Rushmore, released in 1969. The group's sophomore effort again features a mix of originals and covers, and rocks harder than the debut (indeed, tracks like "Toe Jam" are quite raw). Interestingly, one of the group's members, drummer Travis Fullerton, went on to join Sylvester and the Hot Band backing future disco "male diva" Sylvester. (A future member of Oingo Boingo was also in the Hot Band.) The die-cut jacket has a cutout hole; sticker damage and residue on the back cover (see photo); corner and spine wear; light ring, seam, and edge wear; and some mostly light creasing (VG+). The disc has some scraping and scuffing, and plays with mostly light surface noise and an occasional light pop (VG+). The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
