MOUNTAIN ASH BAND The Hermit WITCHES BANE MUSIC LP + insert LKLP 6036 RARE FOLK!
ORIGINAL UK LP, with LAMINATED front sleeve and
laminated back spine strip, comes with the original FOLD-OUT
LYRICS INSERT.
Released in 1976 on the WITCHES BANE MUSIC label, Catalogue
Number LKLP 6036.
Matrix numbers read:
A-side: LK-LP – 6036 – A – 1 (AR) Etched
B-side: LK/LP 6036 B (AR) Etched
VERY GOOD+/VERY GOOD CONDITION
Sleeve in VERY GOOD+ condition, front LAMINATED sleeve displays
some record sleeve ring wear with light partial sleeve dulling in
places, some laminate cracks/creases mainly around the
sleeve’s edges, some small light indent marks and some fine line
laminate surface scuffs. Spine laminate is partially cracked/lifted
in places however all the spine print is clear and intact. Back
sleeve is VERY GOOD++ in appearance, some minor ring
wear, small odd surface scuff mark, a few tiny indent marks and
some slight/light surface wear owing to age and handling. There
is a small portion of the bottom right hand sleeve (from the front
sleeve’s corner edge) which has come unglued from the back (will
stick back easly). There are no rips/tears, no edge wear (apart
from spine laminate cracks), no seem splits, and no sleeve
creases.
Record comes complete with the original fold-out LYRICS INSERT,
which is in EXCELLENT condition, has one tiny indent mark, on/near
the top left hand corner folded over edge, but with no other
damage.
Record comes complete with the original inner paper sleeve, mainly
in VERY GOOD+ condition, some light creasing and small edge stain
evident, but no major damage.
Record labels are EXCELLENT, clean with no damage and just a
few small spindle trail marks showing on both sides.
Playing surfaces displays a small amount of very light surface scuffs
on both sides, one small very light but slightly more prominent one
on the third track on the A-side at 6 o’clock and the rest being mainly
fine line/hair line types, which mostly appear when held and
angled under a strong bright light. Surface marks/scuffs are very
lightly scattered and definitely not excessive, there is absolutely
nothing heavy, unsightly or that you can feel, graded by
appearance as VERY GOOD. Record surfaces have some small
portions of light dulling to the sheen on both sides near the
outer edge; Record was bought from new like this, and is a
product of when original pressed/manufactured.
Record is very lightly warped, with the warp appearing slightly more
noticeable when played on the B-side.
The record plays between VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ on both
sides, there are some background crackles and the occasional
audible background passing click in places when played.
