This is #177 of the ultra limited pressing of 1000!

Gone in a flash, this record is pretty darn impossible to find these days... let alone an extra dandy one like this!

Each of the Mountain Goats' Come Come To The Sunset Tree lps was packaged in a one-of-a-kind arts'n'crafts-y record sleeve hand-designed by Mr. John Darnielle himself!
That's right, no two jackets are alike!
This one is hand-numbered #177 and is dated 5/19/05!
So nicely detailed, it seems like Darnielle took a little extra time in crafting up this one (please see photo).

Musically and aesthetically a return to his earlier, considerably more lo-fi, d.i.y. days (it could only be more so if it were released on a cassette!), this vinyl-only album was the very rough-hewn, home recorded, but no less wonderful counterpart to the Mountain Goats fine studio-recorded album, The Sunset Tree released on 4AD.
This self-released record features different versions of songs and different track listings than those on the 4AD version. Not to be missed!
