TANTARA TS 6919 - USA

Original debut album from 1968 by Texas band THE MOVING SIDEWALKS, well known for the presence in their line-up of future ZZTOP founder BILLY GIBBONS.
The album was pressed on the small TANTARA label and has been bootlegged in the past but this is an original copy.

COVER - The gatefold Unipak cover is in VG condition. Apart from general wear, it has a tear in the bottom side of the front cover and some humidity stains along the bottom seam. No writings.

INNER - Plain white inner.

VINYL - Has many scuffs and hairlines, graded VG for some surface noise, especially in the quietest parts. No skips or sticks.
Original vinyl with handwritten matrix numbers (TS-6919-1 and A13819 on side 1, TS-6919-2 and A13819-X on side 2). Both sides also carry in the run-out groove a small circular MR logo (Monarch Records). 
Record playgraded using a Shure V15-Type III stylus at 1.5gr.

RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE'S GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. 

GOOD:The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. 

FAIR:The record is still just playable but has not been cared for prop­erly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. 

Please notice that I don't use Mint but NEAR MINT (which is very close but refers to a secondhand used record) except for Sealed/Brand New/Unplayed records, and I don't sell Poor or unplayable records. I try to be as honest as possible when grading records, but a mistake can be made from time to time.

Album di esordio originale del gruppo texano THE MOVING SIDEWALKS, conosciuti per la presenza nella formazione del futuro chitarrista e fondatore degli ZZ Top BILLY GIBBONS.
L'album venne realizzato dalla piccola etichetta Tantara ed è stato ristampato in forma bootleg negli anni, ma questa è una copia originale.

COPERTINA - La copertina apribile Unipak (con disco inserito dall'interno) è in condizioni VG. A parte l'usura generale, c'è uno strappo nella parte bassa del lato frontale e ci sono tracce di umidità su tutto il lato inferiore.
Non ci sono scritte.

BUSTA INTERNA - Busta generica bianca.

VINILE - Ha parecchi segni e graffi superficiali. Valutato VG per la presenza di un rumore di fondo costante, più avvertibile nelle parti a basso volume. Non ci sono salti o inceppamenti.
Vinile originale con numeri di matrice scritti a mano (TS-6919-1 e A13819 per il lato 1, TS-6919-2 e A13819-X sul lato 2). SU entrambi i lati è anche presente, stampato sul vinile, il logo circolare MR (Monarch Records).
Disco ascoltato con una testina Shure V15-Type III del peso di 1.5gr.
