This is the UK original 1st pressing on the DECCA record label, pressed on thick quality vinyl. This is the Wide Band Grooved edition 1, wirh "original recording by" in the top left hand corner of the label.The record comes in its original inner and outer sleeves.
The Record:
The playing surface is in fine condition, there are NO scratches or other marks apart from 2 very light hairlines on side 1 only visible under strong light and 1 barely visible hairline on side 2. The labels are very clean, with NO stickers and NO tears, there are moderate spindle marks.
The Inner sleeve:
The original inner sleeve(complete with the polythene liner) has NO splits around the edges or bottom and NO writing. There is 1 small tear at the centre which is visible in 1 of the pictures.
The Outer Sleeve:
The front of the sleeve is very clean with NO writing and NO tears. There is very light ring wear near the top and bottom. The spine and bottom edge have NO tears, The opening edge is still fairly sharp, There is NO lifting of the laminate. The top edge has a very small split about 1/4" (6mm) long next to the opening edge. The rear of the sleeve has some ring wear, there are tw0 numbers (574 &445) written along the opening edge and there is a tear near the bottom (not full thickness)which has partially removed some print, and a tear about 1" on the top 'fold over' all this soubds worse than it is and I have tried to make it clear in the pictures.
