Description

AnalogNow

If you appreciate the analog sound - like we do - with its wide audio band and fine detail, played on a well adjusted turntable, you may find records of your liking here: good repertoire, good to perfect, clean pressings, beautiful performances, and maybe an occasional find. But there are of course also the lesser perfect, old items which can give a lot of joy to the collector. And an occasional CD.

We started collecting records many years ago. But in the last two decades our collections really expanded. When buying records, we always checked carefully if they were in good shape. Each individual record was checked. The records should be at least Excellent to Near Mint, preferably Near Mint to Mint. Only for exceptional artists or in case of a rare recording the grade Very Good Plus was excepted. This is not a shop, but a private seller with an extremely large collection. In most cases we would not sell the record(s) offered here if we did not have as good a copy ourselves.

This is the mono-version of KLeiber's sougt after performance of Mozart's

Le Nozze di Figaro

It is the very first issue in a grey box, with orange gold labels and all four LP's in individual covers.

As you can see in the picture, the covers have beautifull black and white photo's of the main artists (Erich Kleiber, Cesare Siepi, Hilde Gueden, Suzanne Danco).

KLeiber conducts the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the cast and corus of the Vienna State Opera and famous singers:

Hilde Gueden (soprano)
Lisa Della Casa (soprano)
Suzanne Danco (soprano)
Cesare Siepi (bass)
Alfred Poell (Baritone)
Fernando Corena (Bass)

The records are as new. Perfect copies. No spindle marks. There is only a mark at the beginning of Side One which sounds only in the silent parts of the Overture. That's all!

The glossy covers are brilliant. Also practically like new.
The box is excellent (shelf wear).

Obviously an item for the collector.

VG+ = A record in this category has one or a few sounding marks and/or may have some surface noise.
VG = Only for the diehard who really wants the record and the cover no matter what, and knows how to safely play the disc (if he wants to play it).
