Superb and highly sought-after performance of Mozart by the acclaimed Barylli Quartet. This record is from an inventory of 1950s Westminster records from a New York City collector. Unusual to find so many of these rare titles up for sale at once! Great clarity and brightness for a record of this age. This LP is a very pleasing listen!
CONDITION:
COVER: VG+: Flat and clean, with light corner bumping and a few small seam splits
LABELS: Side 1— EX: light spindle wear ~ Side 2— VG+ mark from old sticker
VINYL: VG+/VG: Light scuffing and some small marks. Plays very well with background noise and a few repeating pops (hence /VG). Overall very nice shape.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to pressing practices at the time these early Westminster LPs tend to have noticeable surface noise, even if visually NM. These records are being sold in the condition they were acquired and would likely benefit from a professional cleaning. They are best played with mono cartridges, which will reduce noise. As I do not have a mono setup, I am grading the records conservatively with a stereo cartridge.
