MEDIA MAIL $4 for 1st item (single lp, 2LP gatefold, or boxset). For 2 single LPs media mail is $5: Delivery time for Media Mail is usually pretty prompt but occasionally it can take several weeks to reach the west coast – in late-November and December Media Mail can be very slow.

PRIORITY MAIL for a single lp or 2LP gatefold set is $8 (Eastern postal zone), $9 (Midwestern postal zone), or $10 Western postal zone).

Insurance is available to all starting at an additional $1.70 for the first $50 of coverage. Insurance is recommended, as the seller is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping.

MULTIPLE PURCHASES – Shipping costs for multiple purchases will need to be determined after the auction ends based on zipcode and weight.

PROVENANCE : This item came from a large collection that I purchased. It was owned by a serious collector with homes in NY and London and was part of a huge collection containing a lot of import titles. The condition on most of the collection was amazing – there were so many records that over half of them were never opened (still factory sealed). It also became apparent that this collector would often buy two copies of a record (from the same store), open and listen to one copy and keep the other copy sealed. Take a look at the rest of my current listings and take advantage of this opportunity to get some other fine recordings.

GRADING :

NM (+/-), E (+/-), VG (+/-)

Lps are visually graded and then sound-tested in various spots. I try to check visible marks to see if they make noise, and significant scuffs or scratches are usually mentioned in the description. Lps have NOT been listened to in their entirety, so it is possible for there to be noise or wear not mentioned in the description. I try to grade conservatively to please all buyers. I know that there are different grading systems out there, but keep in mind that unlike me, many record dealers do visual grading only. I occasionally use the grading NM+, which usually means the lp looks new and plays with no noise in the areas I sound tested. An lp graded NM- (near mint minus) might have some sleeve residue, minor surface wear/noise or minor scuffs (usually but not always noted). The grading NM/NM- means the lp looks NM but plays NM- with occasional light surface noise. An lp graded E may show light wear or light surface marks and it will usually have some surface noise. An lp graded VG will generally have wear and marks and play with considerable surface noise. In general I recommend cleaning all lps before playback, as they may not have been machine cleaned. Items are sold AS-IS. In general there are no returns/refunds, though mistakes by the seller will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please take this into consideration when buying clearance/budget fixed price or auction items that have starting prices of $4 or less or items that are graded below NM. I have established a reputation, especially in the quality-conscious classical record community, as a top seller with fair prices, excellent packaging, super-fast shipping, and often better-than-stated condition. Please view my thousands of feedbacks and feel confident that I am not trying to cheat anyone by using as-is policy. I discard just as many records as I sell because they do not meet my standards.
