Description

You are bidding on an original pressing of the 1968 blockbuster stereo 33rpm LP record album "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" by Iron Butterfly (Atco Records SD 33-250). This legendary rock album, from the height of the psychedelic era, includes the 17+ minute version of the title song on side two.  Side one has 5 additional titles, "Most Anything You Want", "Flowers and Beads", "My Mirage", "Termination", and "Are You Happy".  The jacket is strong and intact but has wear along the edges and at the corners, and the beginnings of a split seam in the center of the bottom edge.  The disc itself is in excellent (M-) condition.

We accept USD money order, cashier's check, or Pay Pal.  No personal checks, please.

How I grade vinyl:  I'm not a professional, but as you can see from my feedback, my customers are pleased with my gradings.  I grade my records visually, since I haven't played them in many years.  But I've always taken very good care to keep the vinyl in excellent condition.  I've always been a lover of music, so my main interest has been to keep the record itself in tip-top shape.  I haven't always been as careful to preserve the jackets.  I'll describe the significant flaws of a jacket in my listings, if there are any, but I don't include the jacket or inner sleeve in my grading.  The grading refers to the vinyl alone.   Occasionally, I'll put a rare record up for auction with vinyl that is less than M-, but in general, I don't bother listing records that aren't at least M-.

MINT :  sealed, untouched by human hands

M- or near-mint:  unsealed, has been played, but looks clean and shiny, with no significant flaws.  The minus does imply that you SHOULD NOT expect perfect.  Perfect to me means mint, not near-mint or mint-minus.  Even if the vinyl looks perfect to me, I'll still rate it M- or NM (near-mint), since the record isn't factory-sealed.

VG+ : played, still looks clean and shiny but may have some more significant, audible flaws beyond paper scuffing, such as some surface scratches, wear on the label, and so forth

G : VG+ without the +, vinyl still looks good, but more scratches and audible imperfections.  The record will still be playable and enjoyable, a piece to keep in your collection until a better copy comes along.

How I ship and what I charge:

Anywhere in continental US, shipping charges for one LP are $4.07 for USPS MEDIA MAIL. Insurance is recommended, but optional**, at buyer's expense.   International charges as well as US shipping options and prices to your destination can be determined using the shipping calculator in the listing.  A $2.00 packaging and handling fee has been included in the shipping charges quoted (corrugated cardboard mailer, bubble wrap, plastic sleeve, delivery confirmation, etc.).  Florida residents add 6.5% sales tax.  Once you win an auction, please let us know if you are bidding on any of our other auctions. Please check our listings this week for other great vintage vinyl.  We'll be glad to combine shipping to save you money.  Winners of multiple auctions only pay ONE $2.00 packaging and handling fee, regardless of how many discs are shipped.  Also, the cost per ounce decreases the greater the weight of the package, so you save two ways!

**WE REQUIRE that New eBay members with NO FEEDBACK ship WITH INSURANCE.

We send records OUTSIDE the jacket, inside a plastic sleeve, then bubble-wrapped, inside a thick corrugated mailer. If you have special packing requests, we will honor them.  We will not be responsible for the whereabouts of your package once it has been delivered as documented by USPS delivery confirmation(within the U.S.) or dated U.S. Customs Form number (international).  Despite all our precautions, a package may still be lost, stolen, or damaged in extreme or unusual circumstances (in our experience the probability is less than 0.1%, but VERY upsetting when it's YOUR package). So please consider shipping with insurance if you’re concerned about this.  International shipping prices INCLUDE INSURANCE (up to $75) when shipped Air PARCEL Post.  We can easily prove the package has been sent.  Beyond that, we have no control over where the package ends up unless it has been insured by YOU.

Serious bidders only, please e-mail me with any questions you may have.

Please continue to check my listings for top quality vintage vinyl. I will be selling thousands of quality records on eBay, with low, low starting prices and NO RESERVE.
