There was a time in hip-hop where indie labels were pushing out dope stuff. This comes after the Rawkus chapter...welcome to the Def Jux era. Boston emcee Mr. Lif drops this EP on El Producto's new label (this was released before Def Jux had a solid vinyl label design*) Thought provoking head nod raw boom bap hip-hop. I'm lucky I saw Lif perform once, it was better than his Live at the Middle East album.
