MRAVINSKY
LENINGRAD PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA
German first stereo pressing on the yellow/ blue tulips DGG record label
with "ALLE HERSTELLER" text.
The catalogue number is 138 658 SLPM and
was recorded at The Grossersall, Vienna on the 9-10th November 1960.
and was released in October 1962
This is the first pressing sleeve, later ones had a different design to them
The record on side one has the faintest of very occasional crackle.
Absolutely nothing serious. I still grade as near EX but be aware. The record on side two plays silently so EX+.
The sleeve is one of those flimsy DGG ones and has the usual spine wear and a thumb tear at the opening
(see photo) so VG (probably better).
I play all my records in their entirity and do not
rely on a guess as to how they sound
