M.S.B.R. / Telepherique "Amalgam" acetate 7" single issued by M.S.B.R. Records (MR04) in Japan, 1993. Edition limited to 55 copies. Packaged with two inserts in a hand-made sleeve of cloth, thread, paper, flour, ink, and olive oil. ****** Rec:m- Cov:ex ****** MSBR Records is Molten Salt Breeder Reactor's personal label, typically releasing extremely limited items in bizarre packaging. MSBR is a noise project of Japan's Koji Tano. MSBR's crushing wall of noise, like Merzbow's, manages to tap into a post-human territory of pure absolute volume that seems to have more in common with the unstoppable forces of nature than any form of music. Offered here is the first in a series of split releases issued on extremely limited acetates, the legendary M.S.B.R. / Telepherique split 7" acetate. M.S.B.R. side "Nervous Collapse" (5:30); Telepherique side "Transmission I" (4:08). Please consider this record was only played once and is in perfect conditions.
