Description

This MTUME Alkebu-Lan Live at the East 2 LP is a very rare gem for any jazz enthusiast. Original US 1972 release on Strata-East SES-1972-4, features the Mtume Umoja Ensemble. These 12" LP's are speed 33 RPM.The record gradings are Very Good Plus (VG+), while the sleeve grading is Very Good (VG). Side B vinyl has initials written on the label, there are two 3-4" long seam splits, and the spline is a little rough (see pictures). The Music is in the style of Spiritual Free Jazz, Avant-Garde, and celebrates African Heritage. This LP is a must-have for any collector and a great addition to any jazz music library.
