Mu S/T RTV 300
Here’s an original first pressing of one of the greatest psychedelic masterpieces ever. Featuring Merrell Fankhauser, whose career extends from surf music (he wrote “Wipe Out”!) to Hawaiian music (I recently saw him on cable access with hula dancers!). Also featuring Jeff Cotton, an extraordinary guitarist better known as Antennae Jimmy Semens from his days in the original Captain Beefheart’s Magic Band. The music is gorgeous West-Coast psychedelia, with touches of Beefheart slide and free jazz. My highest recommendation!
Disc is VG+ with lots of light marks but no deep scratches; consequential surface noise results through the quiet sections but plays well and is generally quite listenable. Cover has seam split on top and seam wear on bottom and wear to the foil backside. Someone tore the promo sticker off the front, leaving a large tear (see photo). Includes original lyric insert!

After a three year hiatus, during which we moved and built our Permanentrecords library/vault/watering hole, we are finally up and running as an Ebay seller again. Welcome back to all our old friends and hello to new ones. We’re going to try things a bit differently this time. We will still feature great, rare, obscure, strange and little-known vinyl, but we’ve decided on no reserves and a very low opening bid on even the choicest stuff. We’re hoping that this will keep you coming back to us for the chance at some genuine bargains and maybe even steals, as we allow each item to find its natural price. We are also hoping to expand into some of our other interests in the near future, like vintage clothes and books.
