This is legitimately regarded as one of the greatest of the Chicago blues albums. Muddy Waters is at his very best in this live recording. The album has realized incredible commercial success, and it was awarded a Grammy for “Best Ethnic” album in 1979. It was produced by Johnny Winter. The players supporting this album are a blues hall of fame group. Led by Johnny Winter on guitar, you’ll also hear Pinetop Perkins on piano, James Cotton on harp, Luther “Guitar Jr” Johnson on guitar, and Willie “Big Eyes” Smith on drums. This is live blues at its absolute best!
