Up for auction is a super rare 6 LP Box Set of the music of Muddy Waters released by Chess/MCA Records in 1989. 72 songs total, plus 32 page booklet. See photos for further description and complete track listing. The condition is super clean, the box looks great with no seam splits or obvious signs of wear or previous handling. Corners are tight and show very little rubbing and no dings. Upper right hand corner shows a tiny amount of glue residue from a sticker that was previously removed. Otherwise, the box looks great. The booklet doesn't look like it's even been read all the way through, very clean. The condition of the vinyl is also really beautiful, retaining all of its original high gloss sheen. No marks around spindle holes. I'd be surprised if all of these records have even been played. All 6 LPs come in audiophile vinyl-lined paper sleeves. The LPs also retain some of their original "static" when you pull them out of the sleeves. It's hard to believe you'll find a nicer copy of this long out of prints Chess compilation.
