Description

A classic. Muddy's first issue for Aristocrat/Chess to be followed my many others! Just Muddy with the ubiquitous Sunnyland Slim with his distinctive piano style and solid Big Crawford on bass. Way back in Chicago, 1947 at the start of the great post war blues explosion. How lucky we are to be able to hear this wonderful music! Solid V(+) playing copy which has survived pretty well. Music comes through well on top of the underlying shellac surface. Plenty of life left in this copy.
