Description
Item Description: Muddy Waters - The Chess Box. 6 record box set. Booklet. Chess Records ( CH6-80002). Notes on backside of box reads: 72 classic performances by perhaps the greatest bluesman ever, Muddy Waters. Covering a quarter centry (1947-1972) on Chess Records, the recordings are sequenced as recorded and are digitally remastered from the original masters or original Chess 78 r.p.m. singles. Twenty-three of the tracks are rare, including 10 previously unreleased. Included is a 32-page booklet, featuring two sets of liner notes (one focusing on Muddy's life, the other on his music), song-by-song credits, a complete album by album Chess discography, historic photos and related memorabilia.
Condition: Box Cover: VG++ (three tiny stains on front, left of photo); Vinyls: NM; Booklet: NM
- We try to grade honestly and fairly. Grading done visually under a strong light, and is based on the Goldmine standard as follows:
- Mint: Still Sealed
- NM: This is our highest grading. Looks unplayed, shiny, glossy, no visible marks. A near to perfect.
- VG++: Close to NM
- VG+: Few minor marks or surface scuffs. Still very nice!
- VG: Light scratches, noticable marks, and surface noise may be apparent. There are some flaws

Shipping: U.S., Canada, International accepted to address provided with payment. Well packaged and shipped in sturdy mailers. We prepare packages for mailing within 24 hours of payment confirmation. Insurance is optional at buyers request and cost (sorry, we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages). We will be happy to combine items to save on shipping charges.
- United States: USPS Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation to keep shipping costs down (please keep in mind it can take up to 9 days or more to receive with this service, which is out of our control). If you would prefer receiving via Priority Mail to receive quickly, please email your request so we can forward you an invoice with revised shipping included.
- Canada and International: Please note that I will need to confirm shipping charges if you win. I want to make sure your package arrives and there are no hidden surprises with customs going to your country. Buyer is responsible for paying duties, taxes, and applicable customs clearance/brokerage fees separate from the merchandise cost. Buyers will generally pay these fees upon receipt of your shipment. For example, international rates may or may not include pickup and door-to-door delivery with customs clearance.
