Description
Two 16 inch transcription discs featuring V-Disc recording sessions by Muggsy Spanier.
Discs are 16 inches, black lacquer acetate coated aluminum 33 1/3 rpm and were recorded for V-Disc
Both discs are dated October 22, 1945
Disc one contains four tracks. The first three tracks are breakdowns for "China Boy", the fourth track is the full song "China Boy". Written on the disc is "Spanier V Disc Test Cuts".
Disc one contains four tracks. Track one is a breakdown cut for the song "Royal Garden Blues". Track two is the full song "Royal Garden Blues". Track three is a breakdown cut for the song "You Took Advantage Of Me". Track four is the full song "You Took Advantage Of Me". Written on the sleeve is "Unissued"
"Glass" is written on the sleeves, however these appear to be aluminum base
Discs are in Excellent+ Condition with Excellent + to Near Mint- Sound, Absolutely Beautiful Discs with Beautiful Sound!
Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables. For $10 I can include a CD transfer of the entire disc for the buyer
