Description

This is one of the best collections of music from the late 60's I've heard. Murray the K was a DJ on a roll when this came out, and was so important to breaking new bands, as he does here with songs by The Rascals ("I Aint Gonna Eat Out My Heart Any More" opens the album with a blast of amazing 60's rock), The Bee Gees ("Holiday"), and Vanilla Fudge ("You Keep Me Hangin' On". Side One is all radio hits. Side Two is full of rare and some never released anywhere else of great bands playing LIVE, like Joe Tex ("Hold On To What You've Got"), Joe Tex ("You've Got What It Takes"), and the amazing Shangri-La's singing a live version of "I Can Never Go Home Anymore". The treasure for me was The Royalettes singing "It's Gonna Take A Miracle". GREAT ALBUM, and A PROMO IN EXCELLENT SHAPE! The cover does have a small split front right bottom and initials / name in small letters with black marker on the front.
