Various : Music From Mathematics : Played By IBM 7090 Computer and Digital To Sound Transducer LP (Decca [USA] DL 9103) 196?
Record is Near Mint (our highest grade for an opened record). Cover is excellent with minimal light wear and some small inconspicuous spots on back.
With original "plastic bag" inner sleeve.
Fine original mono copy of this historic electronic music LP, released circa 1962. A few of these tracks were originally issued on a double 10" of the same name (Bell Telephone Laboratories, Inc. #122227) but most of this material was only released on this LP, as far as we know.
The pressing history of this is a little confusing -- they most often show up in stereo (DL 79103) with the maroon "ultimate in high fidelity" stereo labels, and most of the monos we've seen have had maroon labels also (with the stars on the sides) but for some reason some also got pressed with these unusual pink labels (other than the color they are identical to the maroon mono "stars" label). We have seen similar pink Decca labels on promos but they are marked "sample copy" etc, and these are not. In any case this pink label mono version seems to be the rarest variation of this LP, at least among the US versions (it also came out on Brunswick in the UK).
