Description

I found this vintage 78 recently at an estate sale along with quite a few other German 78s from the 1930's please see my upcoming auctions for related titles.

KRISTALL 2157 ~ "STUKALIED" / "WARTE, MEIN MADEL,DORT IN DER HEIMAT"
performed by Musikkorps des Luftnachricten-Regt. des Oberbefehlshabers der Luftwaffe.
The A side is the Stuka Song which is a choral march in praise of the Junkers JU 87 dive-bomber. The flip side is a tune from the Nazi UFA propaganda film "U-BOOTE WESTWARTE" ( U-Boats Westward) which came out in 1941. The film promoted the Kriegsmarine and concerns a U-Boat mission in the Battle of the Atlantic.
V+ /V still somewhat glossy, generally kind of rubbed on both sides with lots of light marks visible, still plays through ok but with background hiss.
