MYSTERY BANDS:  ACETATE by VARIETY RECORDING SERVICES (Mfd in NYC in the mid 60's)  Original 12" EP  -  There is no Group or Artist named on the Label;  there is no Label on the B Side at all.  SIDE A contains 4 Tracks:  MY BABY WON'T GO, FAREWELL, and the Instrumental Backing Tracks for those 2 Songs.  MY BABY WON'T GO is a great NORTHERN SOUL Track, previously Unknown and Unreleased.  FAREWELL is a good Soul Track, also unreleased.  The B Side has two more Tracks.  The First one is an Instrumental Backing Track for  HE'S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HAND (probably a Rock version).  The 2nd Track is a Killer GARAGE BAND song, A GIRL NAMED JO.  No information on the Band, and no sign of any release anywhere.  These Tracks were probably recorded in Connecticut.  It's a one-of-a-kind item.  There are a lot of scratches on both Sides of this, but it's a miracle that it exists at all.  The Label has a lot of fading and ageing, but at least it's there.  I've posted some audio clips from both sides of this record.  Just click on the BIG MICROPHONE Icon and listen for yourself.  CRANK IT UP!  I can ship this anywhere in the USA Media Rate for $4.00. This can ship to most Overseas Countries for around $22.00; shipping to Canada will cost $15.00. If bidding reaches $50-$120, and it sells to a non-US Buyer, it will have to ship via Registered Mail in addition to First Class Shipping (but I'll pay $6.50 of the $14.95 Registered Mail Fee.) If it sells to a non-US Buyer for $120-$500, it will have to ship Air Priority ($53.00), and I'll have to pay for Insurance for the full amount sold. If it sells to a non-US Buyer for over $500, it will have to ship Global Express Mail ($90-$130) and I'll pay for Insurance. The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying other than PAYPAL, I can ship it any way you want. PAYPAL rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers. You can't get that with simple First Class International shipping. The US Post Office has made it very difficult to Insure packages leaving the country. I can take PAYPAL (and others). This is a 12" 33 1/3 Pressing (an EP), but I'm listing it as a 7" 45 Single to get the most exposure to the people who will be interested in it.
