Here is a MEGA RARE album from my collection offered up for sale: A superb vintage pressing of The Beatles first appearance on an Lp album! "MY BONNIE" Tony Sheridan and the Beat Brothers. This is the Beatles backing fellow Hamburg rocker Tony Sheridan as "The Beat Brothers" Originally released on Polydor Records in Germany in 1962. Their appearance on this record sent future manager Brian Epstein to seek them out in Liverpool. The first pressings are scarce and can go for tens of thousands of dollars. This album offered here is the ONLY repressing of this rare record. It was released in 1982 and ONLY available in Germany! The production numbers were not in great number! This special one off repress on Polydor 1237112 SLPHM and was sold with an accompanying 45 which is NOT included here. This is a great vintage import album that is no longer being pressed on ANY label! Songs include: My Bonnie, Skinny Minny, Whole Lotta Shakin' going on, Little Richard's "Ready Teddy", The Saints Go Marching In, Sweet Georgia Brown, Ray Charles "Hallelujah How I Love Her So", Swanee River and MORE!! This record grades EX, close to NEAR MINT, is beautiful, clean and glossy, has a couple of faint marks, nothing heavy, looks minimally played and has been very well cared for! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent sound quality, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! The stamped deadwax reads side one: 1237 X 112 S1 and 3 20. Side two: 1237 X 112 S2 and 3 20. The cover rates EX, is clean, has deep colors, all edges and corners solid except for small center split at top opening, binder edge NM and readable, no tape, has a couple of tiny corner bumps, front has 1/2" spot of slick missing (probably from the taped on 45), no ring wear, no signatures or writing, little wear, Beautiful!
