Description
I don't know WHAT to make of this single-sided, twelve-and-a-half-inch, blank-labeled one-off test pressing!! Made at M~G~M sometime in the '30s, it's two-and-a-half hilarious minutes of guys in the music department, like, TOTALLY horsing around. Obviously an inside job, someone today with expert knowledge could maybe identify these guys and tell us WHO they're talking about, who's at the piano, and clarify some of the "inside" jokes they fire off. It's utterly spontaneous and frank; something that should NEVER have made it out of the studio, much less be preserved and heard by inquisitive ears in the far-off year of 2020!
This (obviously!) original ca. 1935 twelve-and-a-half-inch 78 rpm white-label shellac pressing is in E- condition. Evidently, SOMEBODY played it more than a few times!

These records come from my private collection, which I have been accumulating since 1967, and now am downsizing! My highest priority in these eBay auctions is to give you the best possible idea of a record’s true condition and aesthetic value. I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all. If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will! Shipping is done with expert care. Your record will brave Media Mail in a stout corregated box, between four sheets of cardboard and a couple of “packers.” I hope you are amused by these descriptions, and by the quality of service being offered.
