Veteran roots singer Anthony ‘Gunshot’ Johnson has set up a new label to reissue his early eighties music kicking off with this refashioned reissue of the legendary Perilous Time from when Johnson was a member of the group Mystic I’s recording for Lee Perry and Linval Thompson. This set was produced by Thomson and a couple of the softer tracks have been discarded in favour of a pair of Jammy’s dubs to One Jah Love and Rich Man. Perilous Times was revived last year by G Corp and Vibronics in a nowadays roots style. This showcase vinyl only LP is issued in a plain discomix sleeve.
