This item is:

  • J. Nzupe & Miss Gerece - Kilume / Mwendwa Merry
  • Kenyan Mzuri AB 42 - AM 21/22. 
  • Recorded in Mombasa, Kenya. Made in Germany
  • The record visually grades G+, quite a few scratches. My record deck unfortunately doesn't have a 78rpm setting, but I've played the record through at 45rpm, there's no skips or jumps or even loud clicking, some low hiss as might be expected from this 78.
  • I can't find anything out about this particular release! From the late 50's / early 60's???
  • Label states guitar, drums and tambourine. Both sides have a vocal too, A side has higher pitch background chanting, B side sounds like it has laughing along with the singing.
  • Clean labels
  • Comes in a pink sleeve.
