Vintage classical lp: MENDELSSOHN - A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM - Incidental Music - PETER MAAG conducting the London Symphony Orchestra, with Jennifer Vyvyan (soprano), Marion Lowe (soprano), and the Chorus of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden - original pressing on London Records, CS 6001, FFSS / Stereophonic Sound, with blue-back cover, silver and red labels, deep groove around outer edge of labels, and ffss inner sleeve; labels say "Made in England", jacket says "Printed in USA"; deadwax has stamped catalog numbers: "ZAL-3559-2K" and "ZAL-3560-1E". The first release in the "blue back" series, 1958.
Condition is VG++/VG++ (glossy vinyl with some soft scuffs and a couple of soft short hairlines; light spindle marks to labels; light tanning to inner sleeve; jacket is bright with some minor rubbing/scuffing, back cover perfect; clean spine, very minimnal rubbing to seams and corners).
